Austin’s biggest, old-school inspirations are Percy Waters, Bert Grimm, and Charlie Wagner. His modern influences are Dan Santoro, Mike Fite, Alexis Hepburn, Robert Ryan, and Ryan Cooper Thompson. He loves the traditional tattoo imagery that emerged from New York City in the early 1900s and circus and carnival art.
